I can’t believe this little man is three years old already!  His mom and I have been friends since our awkward college days, laying on the couch in our apartment watching CSI: NY reruns and eating the best Chinese food Slippery Rock, PA can offer (En Lai Chinese Buffet, if you’re interested).  I am so proud to call her one of my best friends and watch her grow into the most amazing mother.  She is nurturing, caring, and compassionate, and little Liam is the embodiment of these qualities.

Siobhan and her family welcomed everyone to their home to celebrate Liam’s birthday and I couldn’t resist bringing my camera along for the fun.  I got to catch up with so many wonderful people from our college days and beyond, many of them traveling from as far away as Ohio and Maryland!  Nothing makes me happier than capturing special moments and milestones in people’s lives, and it’s even more special when its someone so near and dear to me.

I look forward to many more sprinkler wars, dinner dates, and blown out birthday candles with this dynamic duo.  I love you both!

This summer marks the third time that I’ve had the opportunity to capture this perfect pair.  I can’t believe how much Cason has grown up in less than a year!  My heart melted approximately 63 times while editing their photos because the love between this mother and son is so genuine and absolutely PRICELESS.  Don’t let that mohawk fool you – this little dude is a mama’s boy through and through.

We had a blast in South Park as Cason explored, collected sticks and rocks, and ran faster than I could keep up.  We covered a lot of ground at the park, our final stop being the lovely playground on Corrigan Road.

The cherry on top of this wonderful evening? The sunset that painted the sky after a dreary, cloudy evening – gorgeous darling, just gorgeous!  I’m so glad the timing worked out so that we were able capture a few shots with that beautiful background.  I can’t wait to see these two again, I’m seriously in awe every time I look back at our first session and see just how much this little guy has grown!

If this family looks familiar, it might be because I had the pleasure of shooting Stephanie and Garry’s maternity session just a few weeks ago.  Well it seems someone was ready for his closeup because baby Garry was born not long after we took those photos!  I could not have been more honored to capture these photos of him, his parents, and his fur siblings when he was just a teeny, tiny 10 days old.  Watching as he dreamed his little baby dreams and gave little smiles to mom and dad made my heart so full.  I stayed up well past my bedtime to work on their gallery because I was SO excited to share the images with this newly expanded family.  I wish them many more happy memories and lots of sleep as they begin this new chapter as a family of five!
